Patient information can be added or edited in the Clarius Cloud.
- Sign in to Clarius Cloud.
- Select Exams tab and choose the exam you would like to edit.
- Select the Patient Info tab and select Edit Patient Info to start editing.
- Enter the patient information and click Save. Changing patient information for an exam will update the patient record for all exams associated with the corresponding person. You can assign the exam to a different patient by changing the Patient ID. To select an existing patient, find the correct patient and click Select. This will auto-fill the form with the selected patient's information. Make any needed changes to the patient information and click Save. You can create a new patient by entering a unique patient ID for this exam.
Note: Patient IDs are used to uniquely identify patients in the Clarius Cloud. If the patient information entered in the app corresponds to an existing Patient ID in Clarius Cloud but the patient records differ, a warning dialog is shown. Click on Resolve Conflicts to view all patient records with the specified Patient ID.
In this example, the patient information entered in the app is shown in the second row (as indicated by the current exam text) was flagged as a duplicate patient because the Patient ID 12345 corresponds to an existing patient (shown in the first row) but the Gender field differs. This will reassign the current exam to the existing patient, select the patient in the first row and click Select Patient. If there is more than one exam corresponding to the current (duplicate) patient, they will need to be reassigned individually. You will be able to edit the patient information (if needed) after you click Select Patient.
If you select the current (duplicate) patient, clicking Select Patient will dismiss the duplicate patient warning dialog. The patient record will be unchanged, and the two patients will not be merged. The main difference is that filtering exams by this patient (i.e. by clicking on the patient's name in the Patient Info tab) will not include exams associated with the other patient, and vice versa.
If the Patient ID entered in the app corresponds to an entirely different patient, creating a unique Patient ID for this patient is recommended. Click on Assign a new Patient ID to change the Patient ID. Enter a new Patient ID and click Save.
