Once you have purchased a Clarius Ultrasound Scanner, you will be able to create your own Clarius Cloud account, Institution and claim the scanner as your own. For more information about setting up your newly purchased scanner, please refer to our Quick Start Guide.
Note: You will need to be connected to an active internet connection.
- Download the Clarius App if you have not already.
- Once you have signed into the Clarius App, enable all necessary permissions required when prompted. Ensure your Clarius scanner is fully charged, and wait for the message to announce a new scanner is available to claim.
- While claiming the scanner, there will be an option to either claim to a new institution or claim to an existing institution (if one is associated) with the email account.
Claiming Scanner to an Existing Institution
1.Tap Claim to continue, or press Ignore to stop the claiming process. | 2.Select Claim to an Existing Institution, then click Next. | ||
3. Select the institution to which you want to add the scanner. You can then name the scanner and tap Claim Scanner to complete the process. | 4. Once this is done, a notification will appear. Tap Close to continue using the scanner. |
Claiming Scanner to a New Institution
1. Tap Claim to continue, or press Ignore to stop the claiming process. | 2. Select Claim to a New Institution, then click Next. | ||
3.Name your institution and scanner (optional), then click Next. | 4. Click on the dropdown icon to view the options for the storage regions. | ||
5. Select the option corresponding to your geographical location. For cloud storage details, see Cloud Data Security | 6.Once the location is selected, click Claim Scanner. To edit previous information, click Go Back. | ||
7. Tap Confirm Continue to complete the claim, or tap Cancel and Go Back to restart if changes are needed. |
8.Once the scanner is claimed, you can invite users, update institution details via Clarius Cloud, or tap Close to proceed. |
