By default, the scanner will create a Wi-Fi network using a 5GHz channel. If your device cannot see the scanner's Wi-Fi network, your device may not support 5GHz Wi-Fi and only support 2.4GHz channels. The scanner can be configured to create a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network by following these steps.
- Tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner of the Clarius App.
- Tap on Settings.
Under Connectivity, enable Force 2.4GHz Band and ensure Prefer Wireless LAN is disabled.
For 5.x or older versions of the Clarius App, change Wi-Fi Direct Channel to Auto (2.4 GHz).
