The Clarius scanner will connect to your smart device by using the scanner's own Wi-Fi Direct network, or using your own local Wi-Fi Network (e.g. your home or office Wi-Fi).
Note: Wi-Fi Direct is recommended if you are in areas of poor or no Wi-Fi connection.
For Clarius Version 5.1 or newer
- Tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner.
- Tap on Settings.
- Toggle the Use Wi-Fi Router if Available button to enable or disable the option. Enabling the "Use Wi-Fi Router if available" will use the local Wi-Fi network first. When it is disabled, the scanner will always connect using the scanner's Wi-Fi Direct.
For Clarius Version 4.2.2 or older
- On the Scanners page, tap on the cog wheel on the upper left corner.
- A drop down menu will appear to let you choose between Wi-Fi Direct or your own Wi-Fi.
