You must be connected to the internet the first time you sign in to the Clarius app to retrieve permissions and certificates. The Clarius App requires a secured internet access at least once every 90 days to re-validate your credentials and certificates. Your scanner will not connect to your smart device if your certificates have expired. Once logged in with valid credentials, you do not require internet connectivity to continue the regular use of Clarius devices.
Updating Credentials
The app will automatically download the required certifications when you open the app while connected to a secured Wi-Fi. This must be done on all smart devices that the app is installed. If you are experiencing issues, try signing out and signing back into the app. The app will remind you 30 days before the certificates will expire. For users who will be away from the internet for an extended period of time, please contact Support to extend the expiry date.
