A fully charged Clarius 1st gen battery will last for about 45 minutes of scanning time while a Clarius HD battery (2nd gen) will last for about 60 minutes of scanning time. Both generations can last up to 7+ days in standby mode.
The Clarius HD3 (3rd gen) has an internal battery and when fully charged, gives you approximately 45 minutes of typical scanning time. Scanners in sleep mode will send battery warning notifications, via BLE, using your smart device's standard notification services.
The HD3 scanner LED indicates the charge level of the battery in the scanner:
• Red: 0 – 30%
• Orange: 30 – 65%
• Blue: 65 – 95%
• Green: 95%+
Note: You can continue scanning patients while the HD3 scanner charges via the Fan. Use only power supplies recommended by Clarius when plugging into an AC outlet. An empty battery takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge.
